The Linny Awards, presented to individuals from the region for longtime commitment and dedication to the arts, will be held later this year in Musikfest Cafe at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

The Slate Belt LGBTQ+ Community Association and the LGBTQ Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted the second annual Slate Belt Pride Saturday in Bangor.

Brett Scallions, the original singer of 1990s hit band Fuel, will perform an acoustic solo show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Signature Event Center, 137 Erin Lane, Brodheadsville. Tickets, at $30, remain available at www.TicketWeb.com.

The awards show is now in its 23rd year and will take place on May 22 at the State Theatre.

ArtsQuest will hold an online ticket sale starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, with discounts of up to $39 per ticket to shows at Musikfest, Musikfest Cafe and SteelStacks festivals.

Wilson Phillips, whose 1990 self-titled debut disc sold five times platinum with the hits "Hold On" and "Release Me" — both gold — and "You're in Love," will perform at 8 p.m. July 25.
