Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival seeks to help the community while enjoying a family-friendly day of music, dancing and theater on July 1.

Longtime crowd favorites and a dash of new artists that offer traditional music, pub tunes and Celtic rock will highlight musical performers at the 36th Celtic Classic, festival organizers have announced.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A little more than a month out from the beginning of Musikfest, ArtsQuest has rolled out an updated mobile app for ‘fest goers.

The festival, now in its 13th year, featured salsa performances, Latin eats and rum tastings on Friday and Saturday.

Bayou soul singer Marc Broussard will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Musikfest Cafe at ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem.

The seven-member Brother and Sister Band, led by late Allmans drummer Butch Trucks’ son Vaylor Trucks and daughter Melody Trucks, will mark the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers’ 1973 album “Brothers and Sisters.”

There are plenty of festivals and musical performances happening in the Lehigh Valley starting on Friday, June 23.

ArtsQuest and Yuengling Brewery both released statements after a slew of comments about the drag performance appeared on social media last week.

Taking Back Sunday, best known for its song “Cute Without the ‘E’ (Cut from the Team),” will headline Musikfest's main Steel Stage in August with Yellowcard.

AJR, a brother trio known for its hits "I'm Ready," "Weak," "Burn Down the House" and "Bang," will perform at Musikfest in August.

Easton's State Theatre will offer The Magical Music of Harry Potter: Live in Concert at 1 p.m.; The Music of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Rings of Power in concert at 4:30 p.m.; and The Music of Hans Zimmer & Others: A Celebration of Film Music, presented by a pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean at 8 p.m., all on April 19.

Sweet, opening for Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, plays tonight at Penn's Peak, 325 Maury Road, Jim Thorpe. Tickets are still available online and at the box office.

Former Disney 'tween stars Aly & AJ at 7 p.m. March 26 will play at Allentown's Archer Music Hall. Tickets, the prices of which were not announced, will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at the Archer website and the box office at 939 Hamilton St., Allentown.

Kansas, the group that had the iconic hits songs “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind,” will perform at Wind Creek Event Center at 8 p.m. May 29. And Aries Spears, who was a cast member on "Mad TV" from 1997-2005, will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 12.

Country singer, songwriter and fiddler Alison Krauss will perform at Easton's State Theatre at 7:30 p.m. July 20.
