Bad Company
Bad Company, formed in 1973 by former members of Free and Mott The Hoople, had its first three albums hit the Top 5.
Its self-titled 1974 debut hit No. 1 and sold five times platinum. Its sophomore disc, 1975’s “Straight Shooter,” hit No. 3, and 1976’s “Run With the Pack” hit No. 5. Both sold triple-platinum.
Two other discs, 1979’s “Desolation Angels,” which hit No. 3, and the 1985 compilation “10 from 6,” both went double platinum.
Thoe group initially disbanded in 1982, but reunited on many occasions to record and tour until 2019. In 2023, the band said it would not continue because of Rodgers’ health issues.
The band in 2025 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
It played Sands Bethlehem Event Center, now Wind Creek Event Center, in 2013.
Hart also was lead singer of Manfred Mann’s Earthband. Colwell was a member of Humble Pie for several years.
