It seeks to unite more than 5,000 voices from across the region for “a choral experience to the community, uniting in celebration.”

To do that, it will bring together adult, community and school choirs from the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties, the IronPigs said in a news release.

Tickets, at $14.50 each, are on sale at the IronPigs website. A limited number remain available. The concert is set for two days after Memorial Day.

School, community and adult choirs from surrounding areas have been invited to join the event, which will feature patriotic music honoring America’s history, including arrangements created by local composers.

The show will be headlined by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, led by conductor Christopher Jackson. The grand finale will bring all participants together in a powerful community sing-along culminating with a fireworks display.

Before the presentation of each song, the tune’s history and an introduction will be given.

Festivities also will include the IronPigs’ signature on-field entertainment, according to an IronPigs release.
