Following a month of community voting and judgement from a panel of professionals, ThreeBirds Coffee is officially the nation's second best independent coffee shop.

In their seventh annual event, Beards for Breasts raised thousands of dollars for cancer patient support programming via an auction where the prize was the chance to shave men's beards at an Easton pub on Oct. 15, 2024.

The book festival will feature workshops, poetry, lectures by authors and discussions on the environment, LGBTQ rights, diversity and the steel industry. It runs through Sunday at various locations in the city.
