The 2023 Musikfest app

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A little more than a month out from the beginning of Musikfest, ArtsQuest has rolled out an updated mobile app for ‘fest goers, it was announced Monday.

The free app puts at the fingertips of iOS and Android users information on the hundreds of musical acts, dozens of food vendors, artisans and more who will be part of the festival, which runs Aug. 3-13.

  • ArtsQuest has released an app for Musikfest 2023
  • The app will include access to sweepstakes and special giveaways, along with real-time updates and information on pop-up performances
  • Musikfest again will extend its run to 11 days this year, kicking off with indie-pop trio AJR headlining on preview night Thursday, Aug. 3.

Anyone who downloads the app will have access to sweepstakes and special giveaways, real-time updates and information on pop-up performances and more.

"We’re excited to bring this app to ‘fest goers once again this year," ArtsQuest Chief Executive Officer Kassie Hilgert said in a news release.

"Being able to create their own personalized schedule will make sure ‘fest goers don’t miss out on their favorite artists. This app helps to ensure that new and returning guests make the most of their time at the ‘fest.”

"Being able to create their own personalized schedule will make sure ‘fest goers don’t miss out on their favorite artists. This app helps to ensure that new and returning guests make the most of their time at the ‘fest.”

The app lets users set reminders for musical performances, and also will feature alerts and guidance on inclement weather if the festival is shut down.

The alerts will let Musikfest keep patrons informed about weather updates and when it's safe to return if the festival has to be evacuated.

Instant updates can be turned on in the app by enabling notifications, including schedule changes and general updates.

Musikfest again will extend its run to 11 days this year, kicking off with indie-pop trio AJR headlining on preview night Thursday, Aug. 3.

Other headline acts include Rapper G-Eazy on Aug. 5; Grammy Award-winning country music duo Dan + Shay on Aug. 6; country singer Walker Hayes on Aug. 7; R&B singers Keith Sweat and Monica on Aug. 8; alt-rockers Goo Goo Dolls and O.A.R. on Aug. 9; comedian Gabriel Iglesias on Aug. 10; Maren Morris on Aug. 12; and Grammy Award-winning soft rock group Train on closing night Aug. 13.

Free stage performances will be continually added to the app throughout the summer leading up to the festival, the release said.
