Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Today is Ash Wednesday. For those who observe Lent, today marks the season's first day. We are six weeks away from Easter!

And for those with a little less self-control, it is also National Margarita Day. Woo!

1. According to the National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ, we're not quite due for warmer days yet. Expect a high of 39 degrees and a low of 34 degrees. The morning will be partly sunny, with snow or rain likely to follow.

2. Did you know that ticks are active year-round? As long as the weather is above freezing, you might notice them in your neighborhood. Kat Dickey has the scoop on how concerned you should be this winter.

3. Fashionistas, it will soon be your time to shine. The Banana Factory at ArtsQuest is having its first-ever Peoples Ball on Saturday, May 6th. Micaela Hood has the story for you.

4. The proposed roller coaster at Dorney Park may not yet have a name, but it just cleared another hurdle. It got unanimously approved by the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission.

5. A former music center on Allentown's East Side is getting a new "lease" on life. Literally. It's going to be an urgent care clinic. Stephanie Sigafoos has the details.
