5 things to Know today: Snow and Irish coffee, perfect together

Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

So, snow. It's finally here and could get a little dicey on the roads today. And just when we were beginning to think this winter might be kinds to us, it's again time to rush out for milk, eggs and bread.

But it's also National Irish Coffee Day, according to the National Day Calendar. Not a terrible day to stay home and treat yourself. Here's a recipe, if you're so inclined.

1. The National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ, is calling for a winter weather advisory today with up to three inches of snow possible. Snow will begin before 1 p.m. and after that will change to rain and snow.

Both the daytime high and the overnight low are predicted to be around 37 degrees.
