1. Members from three Lutheran congregations in Bethlehem gathered on Sunday at St. John's Windish to discuss the upcoming sale of their buildings to Lehigh University with the heads of their respective governing committees. City officials say Lehigh University has made an offer of $3.7 million to buy St. John's Windish, St. Peter's and Light of Christ Lutheran churches.
2. Easton Restaurant Week is returning for its 16th year to offer special menus with fixed prices. Over 20 restaurants will participate, and the event runs from Jan. 15-21. The summer offering will come back in July.
3. A special session of the Pa. House of Representatives was scheduled for Monday to extend the statute of limitations for victims of childhood sexual abuse. However, the legislators dragged their feet all day and did not hold a vote. Here's why.
