Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today...

A little 'Living in the Lehigh Valley' vignette for you on this rainy Wednesday, an absolutely true story overheard recently in a local grocery store:

Shopper to young clerk: "Where can I find black-eyed peas?"

Young clerk: "1982."

I kid you not, dear readers. I'm pretty sure he would have said, "Aisle 7," if his manager had been around.

On that note:

1. Another soggy day. The National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ, says "Rain and patchy fog then a chance of showers." The high will be 57 degrees. So, embrace the humidity, it's going to be another bad hair day. Clouds will diminish tonight with a low of 47 degrees.

2. Speaking of weather, there is 'vast uncertainty' afoot.

3. Be on the lookout for new parking technology in Bethlehem beginning next year.

4. After being in the news recently, health insurer Aetna quietly leaves Bethlehem.

5. ICYMI: Last week's LehighValleyNews.com Quiz was our first ever. Take a look if you haven't already.
