Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today...

So today, Nov. 17, is National Black Cat Day. Seems like that should fall closer to Halloween, no? Nonetheless, we will celebrate a member of the 5 Things team's black cat, named Rosemary who spun off this mortal (feline?) coil many moons ago. Here's to you, Rosemary!

National Black Cat Day is celebrated on Nov. 17.

1. Today will be sunny, says the National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ, with a high temp near 41 degrees. And it will be breezy. Tonight will be partly cloudy, they say, with a low of 26 degrees.

2. And speaking of cats, this time black ones, gray ones, striped: all the cats. Allentown City Council voted last night to ban declawing kitties for anything but therapeutic or medical reasons.

3. Muhlenberg College students really rocked the vote on Nov. 8and are now being recognized for being 'All In.'

4. Upper Saucon Township just might be the home of a new YMCA pretty soon.

5. Coming up and speaking of cool temps, there are ways to save on your energy bills and still stay toasty warm. 5 Things team member Alan Lu tells you how.
