Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

Charging ever forward to the weekend, we wish you a Happy Thursday! The good news is it's National Sandwich Day. On the flip side, it's also National Stress Awareness Day. Here's a suggestion: Put your feet up while you gobble up a BLT!

1. We hope you have something planned outside today, or can find some time to just get out there. The National Weather Service in Mt. Holly, NJ, predicts it will be a beautiful, sunny day with a high of 69 degrees and light wind.

2. John Fetterman, candidate for the open U.S. Senate seat that will be vacant when Pat Toomey retires, plans to visit a canvassing kickoff event today in Trexler Park in Allentown hosted by U.S. Rep. Susan Wild.

3. First Lady Jill Biden was in the neighborhood last night campaigning at Muhlenberg College for U.S. Rep. Susan Wild (D-Lehigh/Monroe). Biden implored voters to exercise their right to vote in this very close election.

4. More than 82,000 voters in Lehigh and Northampton counties requested mail-in ballots for next week's election. From which party did most of those registered voters come? Find out here.

5. Coming up: Reporter Julian Abraham has a story about a mental health summit in Bethlehem geared toward helping teens navigate troubled waters.
