SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP, Pa. — In the midst of a frigid December, with coats zipped, hands numb and spring feeling impossibly far away, Wednesday brought a small but welcome reminder that warmer days are ahead.
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom has released its 2026 operating calendar, now available at sixflags.com/dorneypark.
Dorney Park will open for the 2026 season on May 8, with Wildwater Kingdom opening May 23.
Details on 2026 events will be announced in early 2026, a news release said.
A need-to-know on your season pass
If you’re awaiting the familiar click-click-click of Iron Menace climbing its first hill — and you bought a 2026 season pass during Dorney’s MVP sale over the summer — you’re in luck.
That sale, which celebrated the first anniversary of the Six Flags and Cedar Fair merger, included unlimited visits to Dorney and more than 40 parks across the United States, Canada and Mexico through all of 2026.
That offer ran from July 29 through Sept. 1 and included the lowest prices of the year.
Ryan Eldredge, Six Flags regional manager of public relations, confirmed that anyone who bought the Gold Pass during the MVP sale essentially will have Prestige Pass access.
That includes all Gold Pass benefits, plus access to more than 40 Six Flags parks, preferred parking, free bring-a-friend tickets and more.
Missed the sale?
If you missed the MVP sale and you haven’t made your purchase yet, the Gold Pass and Prestige Pass are different for 2026.
The Gold Pass will essentially be Dorney’s season pass. You can save $55 by buying the pass online, making the price $105, or four payments of $19 after an initial payment of $29 due at time of purchase (plus taxes and fees).
The Gold Pass includes access to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, plus free general parking, in-park discounts and more for the 2026 season.
At $145 when purchased online (as of Wednesday), the Prestige Pass is four payments of $26 after an initial payment of $41 due at time of payment of $41 (plus taxes and fees).
The Prestige Pass includes all Gold Pass benefits, plus access to 40+ Six Flags parks, preferred parking, free bring-a-friend tickets and more.
For May 2026, Dorney Park will be open weekends only from its opening date through May 24. The week after, it will be open every weekday except that Wednesday (May 27).
Starting in June 2026, both Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom will be open daily.
