Trans-Bridge Lines is asking the public to help "Stuff a bus" with hurricane relief supplies it will deliver.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Help will soon be on its way from the Lehigh Valley to victims of Hurricane Helene.

In response to the devastation the southeast is facing, Trans-Bridge Lines is asking anyone and everyone to take action and help them "Stuff a bus" with much-needed supplies.

The motorcoach company president, Tom JeBran, has launched a local donation drive to send critical items to those in need.

“We are asking our employees, customers, local businesses, and Lehigh Valley communities to join together to assist areas that have been decimated by the hurricane," JeBran said in a news release.

Beginning Thursday, Oct. 3, any business, group or individual can drop off items at Trans-Bridge, located at 2012 Industrial Drive, Bethlehem.

A complete list of unexpired items being collected is available at www.transbridgelines.com/alerts.

It includes general supplies like trash bags, work gloves, masks (including dust masks), hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes, as well as baby items like diapers, formula and wipes.

Bottled water, first aid supplies and laundry detergent are also urgently needed.

Personal hygiene items suggested include deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and also feminine hygiene products.

On Friday evening, a motorcoach will depart for Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where a central donation center has been set up as a distribution point. The donation center is under the direction of the City of Pigeon Forge, Pigeon Forge Tourism, and Pigeon Forge Police.

“Together, we can make a huge impact. I encourage everyone to show their support.”

“We are humbled to help any way we can and appreciate all donations, big and small,” JeBran said.

Boxes containing multiple types of items should be labeled with contents to make sorting, loading, and transporting easier.

Boxes containing bulk items or larger items, such as boxes of diapers, do not need to be marked and will be sorted by Trans-Bridge employees.
