LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — The township's Easton Road ballfields are in line for improvements.
Lower Saucon Township was just awarded almost $510,000 in grant funding to redevelop them.

“I am so happy and grateful this funding has been awarded to Lower Saucon Township to help revitalize two important sport fields used by our community,” Rep. Milou Mackenzie, R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton, said in a news release.
Mackenzie helped secure the funding.

Funding comes from Pennsylvania's Local Share Account Program, which gets revenue from gaming in the state. LSA projects improve the quality of life of citizens in the community.
