On‑site childcare
One of the most innovative features of the Women’s Health Center is the Kids Club, a reservation‑based childcare service available at no additional cost to patients during regular appointment hours. Patients must remain on premises while children are in the Kids Club.
For many women, finding childcare is a barrier to receiving timely care, but this on-site service removes that obstacle, offering peace of mind and convenience through safe, supervised childcare. Early childhood education professionals following the industry’s best practices provide individualized age-appropriate activities in a clean, secure and nurturing setting to ensure each child feels safe, supported and engaged.
The Kids Club is open to children from 4 weeks to age 12, with all the amenities they may need to keep them comfortable and happy while their mom is receiving the care she needs. This includes furniture for lounging and independent play; a device charging station for the older kids; engaging toys, games and craft supplies for preschool age children; and a well-equipped library for all ages. The Kids Club space also includes a safe area for non-mobile children to nap and play, bottle warmers, a changing station and a specially designed private bathroom for children’s use.
