ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Children in three age groups are being recognized by a Lehigh Valley company for their artistic abilities.
HNL Lab Medicine just announced the nine young winners of their annual Children's Art Contest. The contest asked students in kindergarten through eighth grade to design a lab coat. This year’s submissions included many rainbow-colored coats.

The winners are:
Grades K-2: Lydia Zink, Parker Altshuler, Zoey Page.
Grades 3-5: Addison-Faye Everman, Kitara Miller, Layla Schmidt.
Grades 6-8: Angelea D’Agata, Lennon Hudock, Xavier Beuno.
The winners get to pick an educational membership to the Da Vinci Center or Crayola Experience.

HNL is a medical diagnostics laboratory based in Allentown.
“HNL Lab Medicine remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting and nurturing the development of young talents within the community,” an HNL media release read. “By fostering a love for art and science, the organization hopes to inspire the next generation of innovators and thinkers.”
The winning designs will be showcased throughout HNL's more than 50 patient service centers across the region.
The contest is held every year and open to all school-aged children.
