Dorney Park offering summer jobs up to $20/hour

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. — Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom soon plans to hire 2,000 seasonal workers for the summer 2024 season.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom's parent company, Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., will hold a job fair for all of its parks across the United States and Canada Feb. 17-24. The hiring event will be at the Human Resources facility in the Associate Services Center, 37000 Dorney Park Road, off Haines Mill Road.

Its parent company, Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., will hold a job fair for all of its parks across the United States and Canada Feb. 17-24, according to a release issued Tuesday.

The hiring event will be at the Human Resources facility in the Associate Services Center, 37000 Dorney Park Road, off Haines Mill Road.

Virtual interviews will be held daily, it said.

Dorney is looking for ride operators, food and beverage workers, lifeguards and aquatics personnel and security workers, claiming to offer, "competitive rates up to $20 per hour for specialized entry-level positions."

Paid training is provided for all applicable positions, as well, the release said.

Potential applicants are invited to visit Cedar Fair's website to apply.

The company also plans fill several full-time positions, with "highly competitive wages."

Both full time and seasonal positions are said to include "attractive perks and benefits."

Originally based in Sandusky, Ohio, Cedar Fair recently merged with Six Flags Entertainment. The combined company is based in Charlotte, N.C.
