Marilyn Manson, the heavy-makeup-wearing alternative rocker whose 1996 album “Antichrist Superstar” branded him a negative influence on young people but sold double platinum, will perform at 8 p.m. May 7, it was announced.

Nazareth-based Martin Guitar will showcase new guitars, including an acoustic double-neck, at the National Association of Music Merchants trade show in Anaheim this week.

Live Nation, the huge entertainment company that will run the Archer Music Hall, will hold a job fair Thursday and Friday, Jan. 23-24. It has said it expects to fill more than 200 permanent jobs at the venue in nearly 20 categories.

Perhaps the biggest revelation is the price of tickets. For the 20 announced shows, the average price for a standing, general admission ticket will be $46.30.

The Sam Houseal Band, Highest Bidder and Sakura Ryoko will perform at a previously announced preview night for the new venue at a previously announced paid-ticket preview night.

Third Eye Blind, best known for the hits “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper,” “How It’s Going To Be,” “Jumper” and “Graduate,” will play the festival's main Steel Stage at 7 p.m. Aug. 9.

The Head and the Heart, best known for its 2011 hit "Rivers and Roads," its 2016 hit "All We Ever Knew" and 2019 hit "Honeybee," will perform at 7 p.m. July 27, ArtsQuest announced Thursday.

Steep Canyon Rangers, perhaps best known for touring and recording with comedian/banjoist Steve Martin, will perform at 7:30 p.m. June 22.
