BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A bit of Broadway magic is coming to Christmas City.
Sarah Brightman's "A Christmas Symphony" heads to Wind Creek Event Center on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
Brightman, one of the most well-known sopranos and UNESCO Artist for Peace Ambassador, is known for her role as Christine Daaé in the "Phantom of the Opera" on the West End and Broadway.
Her music has been streamed over 1 billion times in addition to album sales topping 40 million.
Brightman's albums "Eden," "La Luna," "Harem," "Symphony," and "Dreamchaser," were each chart-topping Billboard hits.
More recently, "Hymn" made a number-one debut on the Classical and Classical Crossover Billboard charts in 2018.
"I have to take the audience through a journey, bring them up, take them down — spiritual time, party time, all of that. It's a story, really."Sarah Brightman
At the holiday spectacle, Brightman will be joined by an orchestra, choir and surprise guest stars.
Fitting in all of her favorite Christmas songs in one concert is not as easy as it sounds.
"I work emotionally, I work practically," Brightmantold the Asbury Press in November.
"There are many Christmas songs I could take on, but it just wouldn't be right that I was singing them because I wouldn't suit them. I have to take the audience through a journey, bring them up, take them down — spiritual time, party time, all of that. It's a story, really."
Tickets cost $59.50 - $99.50.
