EASTON, Pa. — A favorite veteran comedian who so likes Easton's State Theatre that he recorded a DVD there, and a Beatles tribute band that includes high-profile musicians have been announced for shows at the venue.
Comedian Bobby Collins, known for his appearances on "The Tonight Show" and VH1 and Showtime comedy specials, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16.
And The Fab Faux, which for more than 25 years has recreated iconic Beatles tunes and solo songs of its members behind guitarist and former "Conan" bandleader Jimmy Vivino, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30.
Tickets, at $34.25–$48.95 for Collins and $70-$95 for the Fab Faux, went on sale Friday, April 3, at the State Theatre website and at the box office at 453 Northampton St., Easton.State Theatre website
The Fab Faux with the Hogshead Horns and The Creme Tangerine Strings will perform The Beatles' album "Revolver" in its entirety, plus a set of Beatles and its members' solo hits.
The group will perform with The Hogshead Horns and The Creme Tangerine Strings.

Television connections
Collins, a native New Yorker, left a job as a vice president of Calvin Klein to be a comedian and has been telling jokes professionally for more than 45 years.
He’s an American Comedy Award winner, a Grammy Award nominee, has done Showtime specials and has been host for comedy shows on VH-1, A&E and Showtime.
He also has been the No. 1 played and requested comic on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio.
Collins played State Theater at least nine times 2005-15, and in 2015 recorded a live DVD, “Bobby Collins — Live at the State Theatre,” at the venue.
The Fab Faux was founded by Will Lee, bassist for "Late Show with David Letterman," and continues to be led by Vivino, who was musical director for "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."
Other members include guitarist Jim Boggia, who has released his own albums and played with Joan Osborne, David Byrne, St. Vincent and others.
The Fab Faux has performed at State Theatre several times, including in 2025 and 2024.
