"Cringe" was Maeson's debut single, and hit No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative chart, where it stayed for four weeks — the longest by a new artist in 2019.
"Hallucinogenics" also hit No. 1, and crossed over to also top Billboard's Rock Airplay chart.
Those songs, as well as the Top 20 Alternative hit "Go Easy," helped Maeson's debut album, "Bank on the Funeral," hit No. 10 on the Heatseekers chart.
In 2018, Maeson performed at major music festivals Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
His sophomore album, 2022's "Never Had to Leave," peaked at No. 25 on the Heatseekers chart and produced the Top 25 Alternative hits "Blood Runs Red" and "Cut Deep."
Maeson in December returned to the top of the Alternative chart with the song "Downstairs," from his third CD, "A Quiet and Harmless Living."
