SangriaFest will return to Upper Macungie Township's Grange Park, ArtsQuest has announced

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A popular event celebrating wine that five years ago became ArtsQuest's first festival outside of Bethlehem will return to Upper Macungie Township in June, it has been announced.

SangriaFest, which includes food, vendors, lawn games, live music and — of course — that namesake wine-and-fruit beverage, will be held 4-7 p.m. June 15 at Grange Park in Upper Macungie.

Premium access will be from 3 to 4 p.m. The rain date will be 1-5 p.m. June 16.

"We are thrilled to continue the success of SangriaFest for another year here. This event continues to expand, and we are so excited to see what this year's festival has in store. We love when our community comes together for a day filled with fun."
Upper Macungie Recreation Supervisor Emily Crosby-Piszczek

"We are thrilled to continue the success of SangriaFest for another year here," Upper Macungie Recreation Supervisor Emily Crosby-Piszczek said.

"This event continues to expand, and we are so excited to see what this year's festival has in store. We love when our community comes together for a day filled with fun."

Rare for ArtsQuest

The Upper Macungie SangriaFest is significant because ArtsQuest rarely offers programming off its home SteelStacks campus in South Bethlehem.

The organization's presentation of the SangriaFest in Upper Macungie in 2019 was the first time it ever held a festival outside of Bethlehem.

The festival returned to Grange Park last year.

"Last year's SangriaFest was a great success, and we are hoping this year's will be even more amazing. We are grateful for our partnership with Upper Macungie Township and their commitment to bringing arts-based programming to this community through a variety of festivals and events.”
ArtsQuest Chief Operating Officer Curt Mosel

"We are grateful for our partnership with Upper Macungie Township and their commitment to bringing arts-based programming to this community through a variety of festivals and events.”

ArtsQuest's partnership with Upper Macungie has continued to expand. Also last year, ArtsQuest held Concerts on the Grange in the township, and that also has expanded to four nights this year.

SangriaFest will have ArtsQuest working with Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery, Franklin Hill Vineyards, Stony Run Winery, Vynecrest Vineyard & Winery and ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages.

Tickets are on sale now at ArtsQuest.org. Early bird pricing ends March 17.

Premium Access tickets are $64-$79, allowing early access, four additional exclusive sangrias (16 in total), catered food, a private bar, air-conditioned restrooms and premium access parking.

General admission ticket prices are $29-$44 and include unlimited samples of 12 sangrias.
