ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A rising rock band that has had two gold hits and in the past two years has put four singles in the Top 30 on the Mainstream Rock chart will play Allentown's Archer Music Hall, it was announced Tuesday.
Set It Off, the Tampa, Florida, band whose song "Fake Ass Friends" hit No. 15 on Billboard's Hard Rock chart last year, will perform at the venue on Dec. 6, it was announced.
The band will be supported by bands Fame On Fire, Vana and The Pretty Wild.
Tickets, the prices of which were not immediately revealed, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, at the Archer Music Hall website or the box office at 939 Hamilton St.ArcherMusicHall.com

The show will be part of a tour to support Set It Off's upcoming self-titled album, due out Nov. 7. It is the band's first independent disc, after leaving Fearless Records.
Set It Off has a new single, "Rotten." Its last single, also off the new disc, "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing (Reborn)," peaked at No. 25 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
Album 'with live show in mind'
The tour will kick off in Atlanta on Oct. 28 and will wrap up in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Dec. 10.
“It’s been awhile since we’ve been able to do an entire headline tour on the back of a brand-new album and we can’t wait to get back on the road and celebrate the release of our first completely independent self-titled album with all of our amazing fans,” vocalist Cody Carson said in a release.

Set It Off first found success when its song "Partners in Crime" (featuring Ash Costello) in 2013 and "Why Worry" in 2014 both hit gold sales.
It had its highest-charting album, "Upside Down," which peaked at No. 51 on Billboard's overall albums chart, in 2016.
The single "Punching Bag" in 2023 hit the Top 25 on the Mainstream Rock chart, followed by its highest-charting song, "Fake Ass Friends."
