ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A rapper who in the 2010s had three gold and platinum albums that crossed over to the Top 25 on the overall Billboard chart is coming to Archer Music Hall.
French Montana, best known for his 2017 11-times-platinum single "Unforgettable" (featuring Swae Lee) and 2012 double-platinum hit "Pop That" (featuring Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne), will perform at 7:30 p.m. June 27.

Joining him will be rapper Max B, whose 2011 debut album "Vigilante Season" hit the Top 25 on the Rap chart, but who was sentenced to 75 years in prison on murder charges.
He was released in November after serving 18 years.

Debut album topped Rap chart
Montana's 2013 debut album, "Excuse My French," hit No. 1 on the Rap and Hip-Hop charts and sold platinum, with the hits "Pop That," the platinum Top 10 R&B hit "Ain't Worried About Nothin'" and the gold Top 20 R&B chart hit "Freaks" (featuring Nicki Minaj).
He followed that with the 2014 gold single "Bad Bitch" (featuring Jeremih), and his 2017 sophomore album "Jungle Rules," which went to No. 3 on the overall Albums chart and also sold platinum.
In 2018, Montana had the platinum hits "Welcome to the Party" (with Diplo and Lil Pump featuring Zhavia Ward) and "No Stylist" (featuring Drake).
Then with his 2019 gold, Top 10 Rap chart album "Montana," he had the gold hits "Wiggle It," "Slide" (featuring Blueface and Lil Tjay) and "Writing on the Wall" (featuring Post Malone, Cardi B, and Rvssian).
His latest album, 2021's "They Got Amnesia," peaked at No. 17 on the Rap chart, but produced the gold hit "Mopstick"
(with Kodak Black), his most recent charting hit.
In both 2016 and 2017, Montana was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Song for "All Day" and "All the Way Up" (with Fat Joe & Remy Ma and Infared). In 2017, he also was nominated for Best Rap Performance for "All the Way Up."
