ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A hard-rock band that in the late 1990s and early 2000s had a string of four multi-platinum albums with 10 songs in the Top 10 on the Rock chart, will return to the road this fall, including a stop at the PPL Center.
Tool, whose 1993 album “Undertow,” 1996 album “Ænima” and 2001 album “Lateralus” all sold triple-platinum, will perform at Allentown's PPL Center at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7, the band announced Tuesday.

Tickets — the prices of which have not been announced — go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 9, at www.pplcenter.com or the center box office at 701 Hamilton St., Allentown.
Tool said in a release that the 28-date tour, which will kick off Oct. 3 at Budweiser Event Center in Loveland, Colorado, will expand on the band’s recently announced festival appearances (Power Trip, Aftershock and Louder Than Life).
The tour’s only other Pennsylvania date will be Nov. 16 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
More than 30 year of hits
Tool’s most recent album, 2019’s “Fear Inoculum,” sold gold and became the band’s third straight disc to reach No. 1 on the overall albums chart and won the Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Album and a nomination for Top Rock Artist.
Its single "7empest" won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance – the band’s fourth Grammy.
In 2022, Tool marked the 30th anniversary of its platinum 1992 debut EP “Opiate” with the release of “Opiate2,” a re-imagining of the EP's title track.News release from Tool
