BETHLEHEM, Pa. — If you come to the SteelStacks campus for Preview Night of Musikfest's 42nd year and don't see any outdoor free stage performances, it's because they've been moved.
In anticipation of rainy weather tonight, Thursday, July 31, performances that were scheduled to be on the Americaplatz stage at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks now will be inside Musikfest Café in the ArtsQuest Center.

And performances scheduled for today on the Community Stage on ArtsQuest Center's Town Square will instead be on the Brew Stage on ArtsQuest Center's first floor.
Tonight's show by fast-rising country music star Megan Moroney still is scheduled to happen on the main outdoor Steel Stage.

And it's still on schedule: Gates are set to open at 6 p.m., with opening act JP Saxe taking the stage at 7:15 p.m. Moroney's set will follow.
Moroney's show is sold out.
"If anything changes, we’ll update you as soon as possible on our socials, website and the Musikfest app," Musikfest said on its Facebook page. "Make sure to turn on notifications!"
Musikfest told patrons coming to Moroney's show to "please be aware that umbrellas are not permitted inside the Wind Creek Steel Stage venue. Rain ponchos are available for purchase at our retail merch tents."
The Facebook post includes a forecast from EPAWA Weather Consulting that shows possible showers starting at noon, and scattered thunderstorms and likely rain through the scheduled main stage show.
"Musikfest is rain or shine, and we’ll always make decisions with the safety of our patrons, staff, volunteers and performers as the top priority," Musikfest said.
"If there are any changes to times or schedules due to weather, we’ll immediately share updates via: The Musikfest App ... Musikfest.org, our social channels and emails."
The free-stage schedule now becomes:
Jamie Chesson, 6 p.m., Musikfest Cafe
Jon Fadem, 7 and 9 p.m., Brew Stage
Clover, 7:30 p.m., Musikfest Cafe
The Hot Mamas, 9:30 p.m. Musikfest Cafe.
Musikfest will formally open Friday, Aug. 1, and run through Sunday, Aug. 10, with 500 free performances scheduled.
