BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Join us every Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. for Insights with LehighValleyNews.com on WLVR.

Each week, we’re joined by reporters to talk about the stories they’ve been following.

These journalists are experts in their beats and offer you a greater understanding of the stories they’re working on.

This week, News Director Jen Rehill is in the host seat.

She catches up with politics reporter Tom Shortell about the 2024 primary election season.

Candidates across the region filed their petitions to get on the April ballot, but in one House race, local representatives are making allegations of fraud. Plus a mysterious super PAC is making waves in the Republican contest for the Valley’s 7th congressional district.

Rehill is also joined by Arts and Culture Reporter Micaela Hood.

Hood is working on a series of articles about Black artists, musicians and performers for the month of February.

She also shares notes from the premier of a new short film called, “Love Letters to Allentown,” which showcases Black and Latino leaders who spread neighborly love and inspire change in their communities.
