And, officials in Bethlehem celebrated part of the city's designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on Wednesday, while making plans for the site's future.

In part? Bethlehem will host dignitaries from Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States from Oct. 17-19 for an official celebration of its new status.
