And in 2023, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Honors & Awards.

In 2011, Griffin's album "Downtown Church" won the Grammy for Best Traditional Gospel Album, and her 2019 self-titled album won the Grammy for Best Folk Album.

Her first Grammy win came for "Downtown Church."

Edwards has released six albums, the latest of which was last year's "Billionaire." Four of the discs have hit Billboard's Top 200 chart, with the highest charting being 2012's "Voyager" at No. 39.
