Fast-rising country music singer announced as Allentown Fair's first headliner of the year

Country singer Warren Zeiders will headline Allentown Fair's grandstand stage at 7 p.m. Sept. 4. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 10.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A country music singer who has had a chart-topping hit and a platinum single with a quarter-billion views on TikTok is the first headline act announced for this year's Allentown Fair.

Warren Zeiders, whose 2023 song "Pretty Little Poison" topped the Country Airplay chart and sold double platinum, will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 4 on the fair grandstand, the fair said Wednesday.

Tickets, the prices of which were not immediately announced, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, at the fair website or the box office at 302 N. 17th St., Allentown.

Special box office hours will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 10. All show tickets include admission to the fair. The fair also is offering discount ride tickets, half price fair admission and prepaid premium concert parking.

Zeiders also is known for his 2021 debut single, "Ride the Lightning (717 Tapes)," which went viral on TikTok, helping it get more than 85 million streams and more than 200 million views.

It peaked at No. 30 on the Country chart and sold platinum.

Zeiders is the first of five grandstand shows expected to be announced for the fair, which this year will run Sept. 2-7.

Pennsylvania roots, platinum success

Zeiders, 26, a native of Hershey, Derry County, in 2021 released his major-label debut album, "717 Tapes The Album," which included "Ride the Lightning."

His sophomore disc, 2023's "Pretty Little Poison, peaked at No. 12 on the Country chart, reached gold status and crossed over to the Top 60 on Billboard's overall Albums chart.

The album's title track became Zeiders's first No. 1 hit on Billboard's Country Airplay chart and was the second-most-played song on Country radio that year.

In all he has totaled more than 3.6 billion global career streams, 2 billion TikTok views and 7.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Allentown Fair release

Another single from the album's deluxe edition, "Sin So Sweet," also hit the Country Top 40.

His most recent album was 2024's "Relapse, Lies & Betrayal," which also peaked at No. 12 on the Country chart. The title song peaked at No. 30 on the Country Singles chart.

Zeiders won a CMT Award for Breakthrough Male Music Video of the Year.

Zeiders also has appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" and "The Kelly Clarkson Show," and was featured in People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue.

In all he has totaled more than 3.6 billion global career streams, 2 billion TikTok views and 7.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

In November, he concluded his "Relapse" headline tour with a sold-out, hometown arena show at Hershey’s Giant Center.

In February, Zeiders released his new single “Born to Be Yours.”
