ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Lehigh Valley can expect pleasant weather today and in the coming days, with sunny skies and warm temperatures dominating the forecast.

This high-pressure system is expected to remain over the region through Saturday.

Today will be sunny with a high near 77 degrees. The morning will bring a calm wind that will shift to the northeast at 5 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight expect clear skies with a low of 54 degrees.

However, the forecast shows that Sunday will start seeing the temperature soaring.

Sunday is set to be a sunny day with a high near 89, and down to 67 degrees Sunday night.

Looking ahead to Labor Day, the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny, with a high near 92.
