Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

Welcome back! The 5 Things team hopes, if you celebrate, that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our calendar tells us it's National French Toast Day, but I've spent enough time in the kitchen lately, thankyouverymuch.

But it's also National Alan Day. So get out there and appreciate anyone in your life named Alan!

1. Today should be partly sunny, says the National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ. The high temp should be around 50 degrees. And tonight should be clear around 28 degrees.

2. As we head into Cyber Monday, let's remember that there are people out there who just want our money. Here's how to protect yourself.

3. Soccer fans had a good time watching World Cup action at the SteelStacks campus this weekend.

4. One more way to celebrate the season: Lehigh Valley Garden Railroaders have launched a display at America on Wheels. One segment is made entirely of Legos.

5. Coming up: The Environmental Protection Agency hosts a meeting Dec. 1 on the health risks of the emissions at B. Braun.
