Happy Monday, All! The Philadelphia Phillies are headed to the World Series for the first time since 2009. They'll face off against the Houston Astros, with Game 1 on Friday.
But for today:
1. The National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ, says there will be rain today with a high temp near 63 degrees. Mostly cloudy tonight with periods of drizzle and light rain.
2. Journalist Margie Peterson has turned her talent into a new book, "The Boy Who Never Threw Anything Out." It's adorable and charmingly thought provoking.
3. As the election approaches, Doug Mastriano recently campaigned in Easton and Allentown.
Speaking of the election, Monday is the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania before the midterms.
4. The Kindness Project, born in Emmaus, has been supplying equipment and other things parents need when they are fostering kids. Founder Jenae Holtzhafer has been so successful and so needed that the group is opening a second location in Monroe County.
5. Coming up: Julian Abraham reports on an art installation in Bethlehem.
