18-year-old dies in Route 100 crash, coroner says

The Lehigh County Coroner's Office says Cole D. Hausman, of Weisenberg Township, was pronounced dead Sunday night at the scene of the one-car crash at southbound Route 100 and Lyon Valley Road in Lowhill Township.

LOWHILL TWP. - An 18-year-old died in a crash on Route 100 late Sunday.

Cole D. Hausman, of Weisenberg Township, was pronounced dead at 10:36 p.m. at the scene of the one-car crash at southbound Route 100 and Lyon Valley Road, according to Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio.

Hausman was the operator of a vehicle that left the road, went down an embankment and struck several trees, Buglio said.

He ruled the cause of death as blunt force head injuries, and the manner of death accidental.

State police at Fogelsville and the coroner’s office are investigating.
