BETHLEHEM, Pa. — It’s go time.

Election Day is today, and if you haven’t paid much attention until now, there’s no need to worry. We’ve got you covered.

Voters will cast ballots for several local races, such as township supervisors and city councils; county offices such as council, controller and district attorney; statewide judicial seats, including the state Supreme Court; and they’ll answer local ballot questions.

Polls will be open for in-person voting from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Not sure where to go? You can find your local polling place here.

It’s too late now to request a mail-in ballot. And we wouldn’t recommend dropping it in the mail at this point, because it has to be received by the county election office by 8 p.m. Tuesday.

But there’s still time to deliver your completed ballot in person, or deposit it in a designated drop box. For a rundown of ballot drop boxes in Lehigh and Northampton counties, find a list here.

Check out this roundup of all the contested municipal and county races for Lehigh and Northampton counties heading into the Nov. 7 general election.

You can check the status of your mail-in ballot here.

Not sure if you’re registered to vote? You can check that, too.

For a look at what you’re walking into, you can find sample ballots to see who and what’s on the ballot in advance. Check out the Lehigh County ballot in its entirety here, and see a breakdown by voting precinct of candidates on the ballot in Northampton County here.

A number of high-profile races are uncontested, with the winner virtually locked up already. Among those offices are district attorney in Lehigh and Northampton counties; Easton mayor and city council; and some of the Northampton County Council seats.

LehighValleyNews.com has previewed dozens of contested races. If you’re trying to size up candidates or get a handle on specific races, check out these stories from our reporters:
