EASTON, Pa. — Northampton County is getting a new judge.

Democrat Jeremy Clark defeated Republican James Fuller in the race for Northampton County judge, according to complete and unofficial returns from Tuesday’s election.

With 100% of precincts reporting, Clark captured a 20-point victory over Fuller, 60% to 40%, according to the county elections office.

The 46-year-old Clark is an assistant solicitor for the City of Easton and maintains a private practice in Easton.

He will fill the spot on the Northampton County bench opened by the retirement of Judge Anthony Beltrami.

Clark won the May 20 Democratic primary over Robert Eyer, the county’s first assistant under District Attorney Stephen Baratta, a former county judge.

Fuller has served as an assistant district attorney in Monroe County.

Two other Northampton County judges were up for retention in Tuesday's election.

Voters re-elected judges Paula Roscioli and Samuel Murray to 10-year terms through retention questions, according to returns that will remain unofficial until certification.

About two-thirds of voters for both Roscioli and Murray voted "yes" for retention, returns showed.
