In an interview with the Washington Post, Democratic Senator Bob Casey says he and his colleagues are already planning for a Biden White House.

He's hoping the president-elect will zero in on how to bolster the economy and defeat the coronavirus.

Casey is sharply critical of President Donald Trump's refusal to concede.

"They are both desperate and defeated and they'll try anything to try and change the rules and even break the law to win."

Republican Senator Pat Toomey tells the Post he believes Biden is going to be certified as the winner.

But he notes campaigns challenge election results all the time, and President Trump's team should get their chance to do so.

"We're gonna adjudicate several disputes. That's all part of this process. It'll be done soon enough and I think the outcome will be clear," said Toomey.

The Trump campaign's lawsuits have failed to present any credible evidence and according to legal experts, are unlikely to change Biden’s win in Pennsylvania - which is larger than Trump’s in the commonwealth four years ago.
