- Tickets are available in advance for $100, benefitting the Greater Easton Development Partnership
- The event supports GEDP programs such as Easton Farmers Market, the Easton Public Market and the Easton Ambassadors
Rosé is a pink wine made from a red grape, with a profile that can range from dry to slightly sweet. According to Real Simple, it is best served chilled, cold, or even frozen, making it a perfect drink to enjoy on a warm summer evening.
Rosés tend to pair well with oysters, balancing their saltiness with an acidic taste which does not overpower the mollusk.
The Dan DeChellis Trio will perform during the event. A cash bar with craft beer and wine by the glass will also be available.
Hosted by the nonprofit Greater Easton Development Partnership as a fundraising effort, tickets – which must be purchased in advance – are on sale for $100 at roseontheriver.com.
Dress code is beach formal, and the event will be held rain or shine. Free parking will be available across from Scott Park.
Proceeds support the GEDP – including the programs of the Easton Farmers Market, the Easton Public Market, the Easton Ambassadors, the Easton Main Street Initiative, the West Ward Community Initiative and the West Ward Market, the East Garden Works, the Easton Murals, and more – in its mission to nurture Easton’s “economic well-being and cultural vibrancy.”
Rosé on the River is sponsored by BSI Corporate Benefits, Air Products, One Financial Services and Hogan Law.
