EASTON, Pa. — Two men, including one at-large, have been charged with attempted homicide and other offenses in the shooting of six people this month.
Charged were Yandiel Onil Gonzalez, 16, and Dante Holmes-Eutsey, 20, according to an Easton Police Department news release.
Gonzalez remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
The men are charged withshootings at 11:27 p.m. July 12 in the 100 block of East Wilkes-Barre Street. Initial reports said five people had been shot and all were expected to survive their injuries, but were not cooperating with investigators.
Gonzalez is being charged as an adult with six counts each of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person; and one count each of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and possession of a firearm by a minor.
Holmes-Eutsey faces six counts each of criminal conspiracy for attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person; and one count of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure.
Holmes-Eutsey is in custody at Lehigh County Prison on unrelated charges and will be arraigned later, police said.
The investigation is active and ongoing, police said.
