EASTON, Pa. — Get ready to indulge in some decadence on the banks of the Lehigh Valley’s waterways as Rosé on the River returns to the area next week.

Greater Easton Development Partnership has confirmed the arrival of the beloved celebration of everyone’s favorite light and fruity wine, alongside fresh-shucked oysters and other hors d’oeuvres, at 6 p.m. on June 15 at Scott Park in Easton.

Attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy a taste of the good life as they enjoy “the picturesque views of the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers” at the summer soiree, the GEDP stated.

“Rosé on the River is one of my favorite nights of the year, and one of my favorite GEDP events,” GEDP Executive Director Jared Mast, who helped launch the event, said.

“It’s a great evening in a beautiful setting, with a great group of friends celebrating GEDP and the City of Easton. And, as it continues to grow as a fundraiser, it supports more of GEDP’s mission-based work throughout the year.”

Sponsored by BSI Corporate Benefits, Rosé on the River serves as an annual fundraiser for the nonprofit GEDP. Tickets are currently available for $100 via the event websiteand must be purchased in advance.

Organizers are encouraging attendees to don their finest formal attire for the rain or shine event, which will feature the sounds of the Joe Baione Jazz Quartet.

Proceeds from the event will support the GEDP's mission to cultivate Easton’s economic vitality and culture vibrancy through downtown initiatives, supporting programs such as the Easton Farmers’ Market, Easton Public Market, Easton Ambassadors, Easton Main Street Initiative, West Ward Community Initiative, West Ward Market, Easton Garden Works, Easton Murals, and more.

Support for Rosé on the River is provided by BSI Corporate Benefits, Hogan Law, One Financial Services, ASR Media / Fig Lehigh Valley, and Gross McGinley.

“Join this celebration as a way to give back to the community while clinking glasses with old friends and new,” a release from the GEDP states.
