Two Rivers Brewing Company announced in a Facebook post Thursday it will close its Easton location for retail sales at the end of business on Aug. 17.
The post did not indicate the exact reason for closing, or whether the brand’s Quakertown Taproom location also will close.

'It's been our joy'
The gastro-brewpub opened at the old Mt. Vernon Hotel at 542 Northampton St. in August 2012.
The historic first floor was largely untouched during renovations, with preservation efforts directed at keeping the tin ceilings, original milk glass lighting fixtures and terrazzo floors.
A 1929 Zenith radio bar, an original piece of equipment purchased by the previous owners, served as a focal point for the establishment, along with a mysterious but prominent Victorian turret, the history of which remains unknown.
