EASTON, Pa. — Looking to take a free trip around Easton this weekend? Keep your eyes out for the trolley as rides are taking off this weekend.
- Easton's trolley is back
- It is free
- It only runs Fridays and Saturdays
Residents and visitors in the city will be able to board the city trolley and take a tour around Easton starting on Friday evening, and continuing through Saturday afternoon and evening.
A release from the City of Easton confirms the trolley is “a convenient way to get around one of our neighborhoods or to visit the downtown business district,” and on top of that, it’s free.
Loop 1 will take riders from the Downtown District to College Hill and the West Ward, while Loop 2 travels from Downtown to the South Side. The routes will run on Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 10 p.m.
Both loops will be completed approximately every 40 to 50 minutes, returning to the Crayola Quadrant of Centre Square. Riders should be aware the trolley may be delayed in arriving at any stop but will attempt to adhere to the prescribed schedule, city officials confirmed.
The trolley will be out of service Friday, 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., and Saturday, 4 p.m.-4:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m.-6:45 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.-8:45 p.m.
