As the Winter Market continues Easton’s longstanding tradition of supporting local farmers, food producers and artisans, guests can expect a diverse array of farms and specialty food producers.

A release from the Greater Easton Development Partnership lists vendors as Apple Ridge Farm, AquaSprout Farms LLC, Bizzle’s Bites, Breakaway Farms and Bussin’ Butters.

Also, Cabbage Throw Farm, Collective Culture, Earthen Goat, Easton Salsa Co., Elm Hill Vineyard & Winery, Fresh Tofu Inc., Funny Farm Apiaries, High Point Kombucha and Jersey Pickles.

Love The Soup, Mia & Maddie’s Bakery, Oley Ravioli, Primordia Mushrooms, Raspberry Ridge Creamery, Saint Rocco’s Treats, Salvaterra’s Gardens, Scholl Orchards and Serrenta.

And Stehly’s Bakery, The Flour Shop Bakery, Tucker’s Pond & Predatory Plants, Wild for Salmon, Zekraft and additional rotating guest vendors.

Looking to start the New Year with something fresh, fun, and admittedly a little peculiar? Try Allentown’s Fresh Tofu Inc.’s Tofu Crabby Patty.

Or if that’s a bit too exotic, there’s always the classic organic tofu and baked versions, which can be used in myriad ways.

Seasonal programming

Or perhaps you’d like more meat in the mix, in which case you can up your protein count with fresh poultry — including breasts and drumsticks and gizzards and backs — from Breakaway Farms.

If you’re in the market to expand your fungal palate, Primodia Mushrooms has you covered. Taste what all the fuss over Lion’s Mane mushrooms is about it's got the texture of lobster and crab meat with a sweet, savory and meaty profile. Or just enjoy a quality Shiitake.

Seasonal programming will highlight nutrition, education and local agriculture.

And on Feb. 7, the market will hold a special grain-focused celebration, “Whole Grain Day,” to encourage the consumption and appreciation of a wide variety of grains.

In March, the Winter Market will align with National Nutrition Month by featuring produce-forward nutrition education, spotlighting seasonal ingredients and healthy eating habits.

And with the Winter Market set right outside the Easton Public Market, guests also can explore the brick-and-mortar vendors and restaurants inside.

They include the newly opened Italian eatery Luca and Sons, and Houseplanted, which just started carrying fresh-cut flowers that customers can make into arrangements, or request an arrangement from owner Alyssa Higgins.
