EASTON, Pa. — There’s some sour news about one of Easton’s favorite sweet spots: Doughpamine by Cake & Corolla will shutter this Friday.
The indulgent cinnamon roll shop, which opened at 118 Northampton St. in March, announced the closure via an Instagram post.

Further details regarding exactly why the establishment closed were not detailed.
Launched by owner and operator Ryan Mason after working for six years at Cake & Corolla, Doughpamine aimed to take a simple concept, the humble cinnamon roll, and test its limits.
Mason once said that he had dealt with depression in the past and found that even little things like a sweet treat could improve a person’s day, even if just a bit.
That mentality played into the branding for Doughpamine, which included affirmation stickers proclaiming, “You are: enough, kind, amazing, important, strong, special, worthy, resilient, brave,” and other inspiring sayings.
At the start, Mason said the shop carried 22 different flavors, with some staples and a rotating cast of specials.
“We have a blueberry speculoos roll, which is delicious, it’s a fan favorite,” Mason said in an interview with LehighValleyNews.com in March 2025.
“But then we have crazy rolls, like our loaded sweet potato roll with roasted sweet potatoes, pecans and marshmallows topped with toasted marshmallows.
“We have both sweet and savory flavors, and we try to rotate through them as best as possible.”
