ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A student at Allentown School District's Trexler Middle School was charged Monday after the school was targeted by another bomb threat, according to authorities.
Allentown police and canines swept the school after getting a threat about 8:30 a.m. but found no explosive devices nor suspicious packages, Assistant Police Chief James Gress said in a news release.
A male student was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats, according to the release.
Monday’s threat came less than a week after another. Allentown police said they searched the school Thursday and determined that threat to be a hoax, as well.
A male student faces two charges — making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct — after last week’s threat, according to police.
