Allen High School (pictured) and Raub Middle School were locked down Tuesday after reports of an armed person in the area, according to Allentown police.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Two teenagers are facing charges after reports of an armed person forced officials to lockdown two Allentown schools Tuesday.

Authorities did not identify the boys — ages 14 and 15 — as they announced charges of terroristic charges and assault by physical menace.

Allentown police responded about 1 p.m. Tuesday to the 1600 block of Court Street, where someone reported an armed person, Capt. Christopher Diehl said in a news release.

Allentown School District officials locked down Allen High School and Raub Middle School until the teens were arrested, police said.

Allen High School was among several city schools targeted last month in a series of bomb-threat hoaxes.
