A teenager is in Easton police custody and has been charged with attempted homicide and other offenses in the shooting of six people on July 12, 2025.

EASTON, Pa. — A teenager is in custody and has been charged with attempted homicide and other offenses in the shooting of six people last month.

Yandiel Onil Gonzalez, 16, surrendered to authorities Wednesday and will be charged as an adult, police said in a news release.

Gonzalez had been at large and considered armed and dangerous since the shooting at 11:27 p.m. July 12 in the 100 block of East Wilkes-Barre Street, according to police.

He is being charged with six counts each of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person; and one count each of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and possession of a firearm by a minor.

Dante Holmes-Eutsey, 20, previously was charged in connection with the same incident and faces six counts each of criminal conspiracy for attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person; and one count of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure.

Holmes-Eutsey is in custody at Lehigh County Prison on unrelated charges and has not yet been arraigned on the charges in Northampton County, court records show.

Gonzalez was scheduled to be arraigned later Wednesday, police said, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
