BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. - Former Easton City Councilman and Hanover Township Supervisor Jeff Warren announced Monday he’s running for a seat on Northampton County Council.

  • Jeff Warren of Bethlehem Township announced he's running for Northampton County Council
  • He previously served on Easton's City Council and the Hanover Township Board of Supervisors
  • Warren would represent the county's District Three on the council if elected

“My experience, commitment to public service, and integrity have provided positive results for the communities that have elected me in the past,” Warren wrote in a news release.
“I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and making a contribution to our collective Northampton County community in the years to come.”

If elected, he wrote, he would focus on holding county property taxes stable, keeping the Gracedale nursing home in the county’s hands and preserving more farmland and open space.

Warren is running for the council's District 3 seat, which covers part of the county west of Route 33 and north of Bethlehem.

After more than 13 years serving as an aide to state Sen. Lisa Boscola, Warren was elected to a four-year term on Easton City Council in 2007; he was re-elected in 2013.

In 2019, Warren and his family moved to Hanover Township, where he was elected to the board of supervisors. He was also appointed to the Northampton County Children, Youth & Families Advisory Board, where he is chairman.

Warren is the director of community outreach for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Somerset, Hunterdon & Warren Counties. He is also employed at CASA of Ocean County and CASA of New Jersey.

CASA is a nationally based nonprofit that trains and oversees community volunteers who are dedicated to ensuring that foster children have a voice in family court and are kept safe with the goal of ensuring a permanent home.

Warren also owns and operates his own digital media business, PCS Digital Media.

Warren resides in Bethlehem Township with his wife, Michelle, and 11-year-old twin daughters, Addison and Abbigail.

This year’s municipal primary vote will be held on May 16; the general election will be held in November.
