BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Lehigh Valley economy is growing rapidly, but is that growth reaching everyone?
PBS39 will examine that question in depth at 6 p.m. tonight during “A Community Conversation: The Economic Health of the Lehigh Valley.”
From large-scale warehouse expansion and emerging data center projects to pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly’s arrival, the live show will put the region under the microscope during a period of significant change.
At the same time, Latino-owned businesses and entrepreneurs are becoming an increasingly important force in shaping the Valley’s economic future.
In tonight’s show, local leaders, economic experts, business owners, and community members will come together to examine what it all means for the region.
Drawing on data and analysis from LVEDC, the discussion will explore job creation, workforce needs, infrastructure demands, housing pressures, and both the opportunities and challenges tied to continued development.
Guests include:
- Don Cunningham, President & CEO, LVEDC
- Kassie Hilgert, President & CEO, ArtsQuest
- Sarah Lutz, Assistant Executive Director, WorkForce Board Lehigh
- Marci Lesko, President & CEO, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley
